Well, I had to disable it after a week of use. For some reason it would not finish it’s indexing. This slowed my computer down a lot. I decided to turn off indexing and just play with the features. So far it’s nice, but again…Spotlight, lets integrate it. So for now I am done messing with it. The short statement is this….Good idea, still not ready for prime time if you ask me.

“So I downloaded it. Installed it. It’s indexing…indexing?? Doesn’t Apple’s Spotlight do this? Well it looks like we have another program that adds more cache to your system. So my question is why do you need Google Desktop for Mac. I am going to try it out to see if there is any benefit beside being able to search google and google mail. (you can do this with a Spotlight plug-in) Stay Tuned!”
