I actually just purchased the "SmartFold" SCR3500 from the Apple store. I liked the fact that it was compact, worked for Mac's and saw a lot of great reviews from other Mac owners that had it. Through this site I was able to log into AKO with my CAC, but the other site that I need to access, I cannot. It asked me for my password for the CAC, but then said it couldn't verify my ID and that I needed to chose on of the certificates, but it still didn't work. It's a site for school that I can only log in with a CAC.

The "SmartFold" SCR3500 mini USB reader is sweet! I'm gonna have to get one.

Is anyone having difficulties with MyForms on AKO? It pulls up, but then I do not have access to "search" for the form. So, the site is useless. That is all in Safari. If I try Firefox, I can search for the form, but then it asks me to either save the "Open with..." or "Save" the file. I want to edit it online, not bring it to my local machine.

Thanks,
Bryan

I have taken the actions of below from muffinmedic...

'I have a SCR3310, using a GEMALTO ACCESS 64KV2 CAC. I used “CAC-NG (BETA v0.95) Snow Leopard” from http://smartcardservices.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/installers'

I can now see my CAC certificates on the CAC Keychain where I could not before this step. That is great, however the 4 certificates I have are all showing that they have invalid issuers. When I show the certificate after evaluating it, it shows that the DoD Interoperability Root Ca 1 and DoD Root Ca 2 cannot be used due to unrecognized critical extensions. This shows up when I go to use Outlook 2011 for Mac and it will not allow me to digitally sign or encrypt my e-mail. I don't think it is a CAC issue because when I use the CAC on my old XP PC using Outlook 2003, I am able to digitally sign and encrypt my e-mail there. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this issue? Thanks....

It should say on the back, for example mine says GEMAL. I know there is a outstanding issue with CAC2 CACs. Also, go to keychain and make sure your cert. on your CAC are Valid, if it doesn’t say valid you might not have the cert installed.Thank you,.web design

The url I used in Keychain was "akocac.us.army.mil". My login worked after that.

I hope this helps everyone.

Thanks for the information. Is there any way of contacting the guys at Mac OS Forge? I have their names (Shawn Geddis, for instance), but I can't find emails.

Thanks again,
