Enable “Japanese” Emoji Icons on your iPhone

In the 2.2 update, Apple added Emoji support for only customers living in Japan. Emoji is the Japanese equivalent of emoticons, it is included in every copy of 2.2 and later. Clever non-Jailbreak method has recently been discovered; with the help of an app.  To enable Emoji, simply buy a Japanese RSS reader called FrostyPlace. It’s $0.99, (you know this guy is making a mint on this app, people are buying it, just to do the emoticons and then deleting it) a small price to pay for the ability to annoy your friends with poop. Once installed, run the app and tap on a story. Yes it’s all in Japanese, don’t worry. Once you’re thoroughly confused, go back to your Home Screen, hit settings and go to General>Keyboard>International Keyboards>Japanese> and enable Emoji. That’s it!

Now you can open up any SMS chat and click on the world icon and you get emotions!

As of today, Apple has informed us that they are now removing any trace of emoji from the App Store. This means:
- All new apps related to emoji will be rejected in the review process
- Existing apps that do not provide additional functionality will be pulled from the App Store
- Existing apps that DO provide additional functionality will be required to provide an update to Apple immediately emoji_sms

Thanks a lot Apple, there is no reason to get rid of this.  Text messaging has become a way of life in the US and to have this feature just makes sense.  BTW, The United States is a melting pot of Ethnic groups incase you didn’t remember!!!!!!
