Palm today has announced it has issued a fix for letting the Palm Pre use Apple’s latest update for iTunes.. Ok so I know this is a technology blog so that said, How are they doing it? I did some digging using a utility called “USB Probe” (comes with the Apple Developer Tool) and found some interesting finding. Below I have 2 images. One image is the Palm Pre read out and one is a iPhone read out. As far as I can tell they are mimicking a iPod.. But we all knew that, right? These images prove everything we thought.
